From the given table, it is clear that the 1st ,2nd ,3rd ,4th terms of the sequence are 12, 22, 32, 42.

In the sequence, the difference between two consecutive terms are same and for the sequence,

First term: a=12

Common difference: d= 22- 12 = 10

The explicit rule for an arithmetic sequence is


f(n)=a+(n-1)d

Where, a is the first term and d is the common difference.

Putting a=12 and d=10, we get


f(n)=12+(n-1)10


f(n)=12+10n-10


f(n)=10n+2

Therefore, the correct option is B.
