From the graph, the value of g(f(2)) is -3

How to solve the problem

The concept of the function of a function is used to solve the problem.

Here we substitute the output of f(2) as input to g(x).

Hence to solve the problem, we first find f(2).

From the graph, f(2) = 7, this is the x-value we use to solve for y in the graph of g(x)

At x = 7 g(x) = -3, that is to say g(7) = -3.

We can therefore say that g(f(2)) = -3
