The rate of change is 5.
You can figure this out by doing the formula shown in the picture. First, you find two exact points on the graph that you can clearly find the x and y coordinates. I found (1,-1) and (2,4). After, you subtract the y coordinates and x coordinates from each other as shown in the formula. But, make sure that you subtract the first y-coordinate from the second one unless it won’t be correct. Finally, you subtract and get 5/1, which can be simplified to 5.
