If a person thinks more people his or her age are using a drug than actually are, how might this affect choices around drug use?

The person may feel as if the drug is safer considering other people his age have done it. They also could be pressured to try the drug since their peers are doing so.

This might make the person feel per pressured to use drugs because they want to fit in or they think it’s cool
