The length of a rectangle is 2ft longer than its width.

If the perimeter of the rectangle is 52ft, find its length and width.

lets say the width = x , the length = x+2

x+x+x+x+2+2= 52,
4x=48
x=12
so the width= x= 12cm,
the length is x+2, so 12+2= 14cm

length= 14
width=12
