If something terrible happened to you, would you want people to feel sorry for you? Why or why not?

I would not want people feeling bad for me, because pity won’t get me to overcome the hardships I may be facing at that time. If they instead acknowledge the problem and help me finding the solution or to overcome it, that would actually be helpful.

Answer:

I would not want others to feel sorry for me because you know it actually happened to me so it shall only bother me.If people would really had cared about me then they would help me recover from the terrible incident without making me feel I am the pity one.
