What does Sal’s dog, Moody Blue, do to her puppies? Why did this remind Sal of her own mother?
Sal’s dog, Moody Blue wanted to distance herself from her puppies much like Sal’s mother wanted to also distance herself. The reason Moody Blue and Sal’s mom wanted to distance themselves from their “children” is because both parents wanted their children to be able to live/survive without them.
