a) The value of q is π/6.

b) The value of p is 900

c) The principal axis is 6

How the values of p and q are calculated

Given that f(x) = psin(qx) + r.

The minimum point is (9,800) and maximum point (3,2600).

From the graph, it takes 12 seconds for complete revolution

the period = 12

a) To find q

q = 2π/12

= π/6

b) p is the amplitude

p is calculated as the average of the difference between the y coordinates of the minimum and maximum points.

p = (2600-800)/2

= 1800/2

= 900

c) Principal axis is the average of the x-coodinates of the maximum and minimum points

principal axis = (9+3)/2

= 12/2

= 6

Therefore, the value of q is π/6, the value of p is 900 and the principal axis is 6.
