just a quick addition to "KiaraL2006"'s great posting above.

if we just firstly get the LCD of all fractions, in this case that'd be 30, and multiply all by it, we'd be left with only the numerator, whose denominator will be the same for all, so simply the largest numerator is the one of the largest fraction.

\cfrac{4}{10}~~,~~\cfrac{4}{5}~~,~~\cfrac{4}{6}\hspace{5em}\stackrel{\textit{multiplying all fractions by }\stackrel{LCD}{30}}{30\left( \cfrac{4}{10}~~,~~\cfrac{4}{5}~~,~~\cfrac{4}{6} \right)}\implies (12~~,~~\stackrel{ \stackrel{\cfrac{4}{5}}{\downarrow } }{\underset{ Largest }{\boxed{24}}}~~,~~20)
