log_(2)(x) + log_(.25)(x) = 1


( log(x) )/( log(2) ) + ( log(x) )/( log( (1)/(4) ) ) = 1


( log(x) )/( log(2) ) - ( log(x) )/( log(4) ) = 1


(2 log(x) )/(2 log(2) ) - ( log(x) )/(2 log(2) ) = 1


log(x) = 2 log(2)


log(x) = log(4)


x = 4
