I believe it’s A. Once the space shuttle is in orbit, the engines are turned off. Because of the Law of Inertia and the presence of a vacuum, it will continuously keep moving at a speed of about 17,500 mph without using the engines. However, it will not leave orbit because of the Earth’s gravity pulling on the shuttle.
