The scouts were constructing a scale model of their clubhouse. They were building the model out of toothpicks.

Below are some of the measurements they used.
One wall was made of 18 bricks and they used 3 toothpicks on the model.
A second wall they built used 6 toothpicks to represent 36 bricks on the actual clubhouse.
What was the scale factor (bricks : toothpicks) being used by the scouts?
A 6:1
B 8:1
12:1
D 16:1

A because if you divide 18 by 3 and 36 by 6 you get 6 for each answer so it would be 6:1
