The value of x for the vertical angles 39° and (3 + 6x) is equal to 6. That is x = 6.

Vertical angles also called vertically opposite angles are formed when two lines intersect each other, the opposite angles formed by these lines are vertically opposite angles and are equal to each other. Angles 39° and (3 + 6x) are vertically opposite.

So;

3 + 6x = 39°

collect like terms

6x = 39° - 3

6x = 36°

divide through by 6

6x/6 = 36°/6

x = 6

Therefore, the value of x for the vertical angle (3 + 6x) is derived to be 6.
