Does gum recession heal itself and go back to normal?

i actually have this problem and i didnt even know it until yesterday and now im scared. i tried doing research and some sources say they dont and others say they do so im really confused on whats going to happen. pls help..

Answer:Your gum tissue doesn't regenerate the way other types of tissue does (like the epithelial tissue of your skin, for example). As a result, receding gums don't grow back.
