The inequality in the graph is y > -2x + 2

How to write the inequality:

Remember that the general linear equation in slope-intercept form is:

y = ax + b

Where a is the slope and b is the y-intercept. In the graph we can see that the y-intercept is y = 2, so:

y = ax + 2

The line also passes through (1, 0), then:

0 = a*1 + 2

-2 = a

The line is:

y = -2x + 2

And we can see that this is a dashed line, and the shaded region is above, then the inequality is:

y > -2x + 2
