Could Jesus have refused to go through with the crucifixion ? Why or why not?

If Father & Son are 1 then Jesus Christ came to give His message give his people to live by His teachings forgive them for their sins if they were to renew their lives with a commitment not to live sinful lives after which came to only return to the Heaven's from where He overlooks all of us. Leaving behind the Holy Spirit given by God to guide us in our daily lives!!!

No because if he didn’t then all of the sins of the world wouldn’t be forgiven through him. He could’ve if he wanted to but he loved us that much that he would end his life just for our sins.
