What relationship can you see between bank failures and unemployment rates in the 1920’s?

In the late 1920 the wsc occurred causing banks to loose all money because people need to take there loans from there banks. As a result of this 659 banks closed and the unemployment rate dropped to 13million. So the relationship is simply that they both had something bad happening. Due to the closures of the banks people working at the said banks also lost there jobs.
