Why is this correct?

a) EFGH is as shown on the image.

b) IJKL is as shown on the image.

c) EFGH and ABCD are similar.

IJKL and ABCD are similar.

Consequently, by the principle of similar transitivity, EFGH and IJKL are also similar.

Transitivity in mathematics and logic denotes a property wherein if a certain relationship or condition exists between two entities and a similar relationship is found between the second and a third entity, then the original relationship also extends to hold between the first and third entities involved in the sequence.
