When the German economy collapsed at the beginning of the 1930’s, it had profound international economic effects. Why?

I think the best answer is that germany was providing Europe with gas and natural resources which they were lacking so collapse of german economy (they couldn’t produce these resources so they would’t export them to other countries) effected on international economy
