y - y1 = a(x - x1)

with (x1, y1) being a point on the line, and "a" is the slope.

in our case here we only need to check, if the indicated points are on the line or not.

the first gives us the point (1, 2). as we can see in the chart that point is NOT on the line.

the second gives us the point (6, 5), which clearly IS on the line (even marked as B).

the third gives us the point (2, 1), which is also clearly NOT on the line.

the fourth gives us the point (5, 6), which is also NOT on the line.
