Two trucks left an intersection traveling in opposite directions. One truck held a

-peed of 60 miles per hour and the other truck held a speed of 50 miles per hour.
After two hours how far apart were the two trucks?

The answer is 220 miles apart. You can solve this by calculating the miles using the speed and the time given. If the first truck went 60 mph for TWO hours, 2(60)=120 and the second one went 50 mph for TWO hours, 2(50)=100. Then, add the up the total distance to find the answer: 120+100=220 miles
