does anybody know if you have separate classes for science once you reach year 9? eg biology, chemistry in comparison to just science? thank you ​

in 9th grade i took biology. but i dont know about the schools where you lived but i lived in florida my 9th grade year. it might be different in other state. my 10th grade year i took chemistry and this year (11th grade) i took environmental science.
