Answer: 22

Explanation:

When multiplying polynomials, you can use the "FOIL" method. This method multiplies the first terms, outside terms, inside terms, and last terms. Once this is all multiplied out, we will subtract.

(5+√3)(5-√3) = 5 * 5 + 5√3 - 5√3 - √3√3 = 25 - 3 = 22

Since this is a difference of squares, the center terms are opposites and when we subtract they cancel out.
