Answer:
2x-5y=25
2x-5 (-1)=25
2x-5=25+5
2x/2=30/2
x = 15

x= 15
.times -5 by 1 since x=1
.add 5 on both sides so we end up with
2x=30
.then divide by two on both sides to get
x=15
