No.

In the expression 3x3^6, all you do is first calculate 3^3 power which is 729 then multiply it times 3 which is 2187.

In the expression (3x3)^6 having the parenthesis makes the 6th power apply to both 3s. This would be the same thing as saying 3^6 x 3^6.

Answer:

No the expression 3×3⁶ equivalent to (3×3)⁶.

Explanation:

The order of operations matters, and exponentiation takes precedence over multiplication.

1. 3×3⁶ means 3 multiplied by 3 to the power of 6:

3×3⁶ = 3×(3⁶) = 3×729 = 2187

2. (3×3)⁶ means first multiplying 3 by 3 and then raising the result to the power of 6:

(3×3)⁶ = 9⁶ = 531441

So, these two expressions are not the same. The first one, 3×3⁶, is 2187, and the second one, (3×3)⁶, is 531441.
