7. We know 100 percent would’ve been 5 hours. So we would subtract 320-100 to get 220%. Now we want to convert that percentage into a decimal.

220%=2.2

We got 2.2 by moving our decimal point between 22. You can place the zero if wanted but mainly you do not have to.

Now we can multiply 5x2.2 to give us 11 hours.

8. When you see a fraction you can divide it from the numerator and denominator. 3/500 in decimal form would be 0.006.
Now we want to convert that into a percentage.

To convert a decimal to a percentage we always want to multiply by 100.

0.006x100=0.6

0.6 or other known as 6/10. It is also known as 6/10 as it is in the tenths place.

I hope this helps :))
