Mathematically, such a statement is considered by fact to be false, however, this statement can be taken outside of mathematical terms to make it true.

Lets say you have 3 small planks and 2 larger planks. If the 3 planks and the 2 planks each add up to the same length, you could make a statement in Sentence form to describe the situation.

In such terms, "1 large plank plus 1 large plank make size of the 3 smaller planks"

Keep in mind that this answer is theoretical, and does not comply to mathematical rules.
