Factor −2x2 + 10x. Please help me

Answer :

-2x(x -5

Solution :

To factor -2x^2 + 10x , we will isolate the like term from the expression.

In the given expression,the like term is -2x i.e 2x is a factor of both of the terms (-2x^2) and (10x) .

hence,

  • -2x^2 + 10x = -2x(x -5)

Thus, -2x(x - 5) is the factored form of -2x^2 + 10x .
