slope: -7

To find the slope of a line, take 2 points from the line and plug it into this formula, y2-y1/x2-x1.

So,

x1= 39

y1= 36

x2= 40

y2= 29

29-36/40-39

Now simplify.

29-36/40-39

-7/1

-7

And there you have it! The slope of your line is -7.

Hope this helps!
