y=10x³+14x

differentiating on both sides,

dy/dx=d(10x³+14x)

dy/dx=d(10x³)+d(14x)

dy/dx=10d(x³)+14d(x)

dy/dx=10×3x²+14×1 [d(x^n)=n(x^n-1)]

dy/dx=30x²+14
