Pronouns are used for or in place of noun to avoid repetition true or false

This statement is true. Pronouns, essentially, replace nouns to avoid repetition. For example, instead of saying, “Jim went to Jim’s house to get Jim’s wallet” which sounds a bit odd and off, repetitive, and boring, you would say, “Jim went to his house to get his wallet” This makes the sentence easier to read, comprehend, and just more proper in general. Hope this helps!
