Well, materials may feel colder than others because they could:
- Be stored in cold temperatures
- Underground
- Next to the ocean
So those are why they may feel colder
But . . .
Some items could be hotter becuase:
- Near hot source ( volcano )
- Gas pockets ( that realese hot “ temperatures “
Those are my reasons why they can either be colder or hotter
