How did the Industrial Revolution change the world?

It made new laws such as Child Labor laws, it also made a bad impact such as, more pollution and more factories. But it gave us more products and more sources. Like before the industrial revolution if you wanted ketchup, you would have to grow the tomatoes and make them into ketchup yourself, but know you can buy a bottle off the shelf.
