Anyone know what to do for this problem?

h(x)=x-4
g(x) = 3x + 5
Find (h+ g)(-1)

Explanation:

Simplify: (h+g)(-1): -h-g

Apply rule: a(-b) = -ab

(h+g) (-1) = -(h+g * 1

= -(h+g) *1

Apply rule: a*1=a

= -(h+g)
