If someone hits you in your stomach it hurts really badly. But a similar blow to

your chest, above your heart, does not hurt so much. why?​

The internal organs like intestines, stomach in the abdomen are not protected by bones while the internal organs in the chest cavity are protected by the rib cage (bones) which prevents any damage or injury to these organs.
