Unsurprisingly, Stalin was extremely skeptical of the plan and believed it would create an anti-Soviet bloc. Though the aid was open to all European countries, Stalin ordered those under his Eastern Bloc to reject American aid, and created a Soviet plan as a response to the Marshall Plan.

So basically the Soviet Union was like “bro we don’t need you help leave us alone” and the us was like “come on, you obviously do just let us help you please we will even give you supplies and allies!!!” And the soviets were like “oh nah we good, I think imma stay just were I am so back off you off-brand England!” And that’s what happened hope that helped!!!
