A small backyard sandbox is 5 feet long, 4 feet wide, and 18 inches high. How many cubic feet of sand would be needed to completely fill the sandbox with sand?

The volume of a rectangular prism (a box) is

length×width×height

BUT, of course, all three dimensions have to be in the same units. The measure 18 inches would be 1.5 feet.
