Answer:

1. y = 5

2. x = 8√11

3. A = 20√11

4. 20√11 = 66.33

Explanation:

1. sin(30) = y/10

=> 1/2 = y/10

y = 5

2. Pythagorean theorem: c^2 = a^2 + b^2

10^2 = x^2 + y^2

10^2 = x^2 + 5^2

x^2 = 100 - 25

x^2 = 75

x = √75 = 8√11

3. Are of right △: A=ab/2 = xy/2 = 5 x 8√11 x 1/2 = 20√11

4. 20√11 = 66.33
