Compared to planets close to the sun, the length of the year of planets farther out from the sun are

larger. Explain why.

Answer:

A length of a year is defined by how fast a planet makes a full revolution around the sun. Planets farther out have larger orbits, and therfore take longer time to revolve around the sun. Because of this, they have longer years. For example, a year in neptune takes 165 earth years.
