The Russian Civil War or Russian Revolution was fought mainly between the Red Army and the White Army. The Red Army fought for Vladimir Lenin’s Bolshevik socialist government. The White Army were a politically-diverse coalition of anti-Bolsheviks and favored monarchy, capitalism, or social democracy.
