Given:-

  • A triangle whose perimeter is 10m² + 11m + 8.
  • Two sides are 10m² - 6 and 10m - 1.

To find:-

  • The expression for the third side.

Answer:-

As we know that the perimeter is sum of side lengths of all the triangle. So let the measure of the third side be " x " . So we have ,

P = 10m² - 6 + 10m - 1 + x

10m² - 11m + 8 = 10m² + 10m - 7 + x

10m² - 11m + 8 - 10m² - 10m + 7 = x

-11m - 10m + 8 + 7 = x

-21m + 15 = x

Hence the side measure of the third side is -21m + 15.

and we are done!
