In the data set {(7,7);(3,10);(5,9);(2,12);(0,1);(6,4);(4,10);(8,6)},

which point is a possible outlier?

The outlier is the point (0,1). The reason is because all of the other points are closer to each other except for this time. It lies all by itself; away for the other points.

Answer is point ( 0, 1)

See graph attached. Most of the y values are 6 or more leaving this point the outlier
