The radius, r, of a circle is 3 meters. What is the area of the square to the nearest

hundredth.

Answer: The diameter of the circle is equal to one side length of the square so if the radius is 3 m the diameter is 6 m and the side length of the square is 9 m you then multiply the side lengths of the square since the size of the lengths are the same size getting 6 m x 6 m which is 36 meters squared.
