Protein Synthesis:
The process in which cells make proteins. It occurs in two stages, transcription and translation. Transcription is the transfer of genetic instructions in DNA to mRNA in the nucleus.
Cell Division:
The process of making new body cells. There are two types of cell division mitosis and meiosis. Meiosis is the type of cell division that creates egg and sperm cells. Mitosis is a fundamental process for life.
