The Non-cooperation Movement was an organized campaign of civil disobedience launched by Mahatma Gandhi in 1920. The tactics used in this movement included boycotting British goods, courts, and schools, resigning from government service, and refusing to pay taxes. In addition, the movement sought to promote Hindu-Muslim unity and encourage nonviolent protests as a means to achieve independence from British rule.
