1. (24 + 8x + 4 )-(8 - 4x + 7)= (8x + 28)-(4x -1) = 4x + 29
a. 16 + 4x - 3 = 4x + 13
b. 16 + 12x - 3 = 12x + 13
c. 32 + 12x - 11 = 12x + 21
d. 32 + 12x - 3 = 12x + 29
