sin^2 + cos^2 =1

3/4 ^2 cos^2 = 1

1 - 3/4 ^2 = cos ^2

1 - 9/16 = cos ^2

7/16 = cos ^2

±sqrt (7) / 4 = cos in Q II it is negative - sqrt(7) / 4
