- Genetic factors as well as local conditions affect the growth of an adult plant. The growth of an animal is controlled by genetic factors, food intake, and interactions with other organisms, and each species has a typical adult size range.
- Having all the right conditions would maintain homeostasis and increase the productivity and growth of an organism. If they can get access to sufficient food and nutrients, then they will reach their optimal growth. However, if the conditions are not ideal, then it would hinder its growth and development.
