Use
identities
:
cos 2x = 1 - 2sin² x
csc x = 1 / sin x
Then
apply to the left side
of the given equation:
cos 2x / sin x = Substitute
(1 - 2sin² x) / sin x = Distribute
1 / sin x - 2sin² x / sin x = Simplify
csc x - 2sin x Answer
