The answer is A.

a + 4b -24

Distribute the 4 to each term
(Multiply each term in the parentheses by 4)

1/4a • 4 = a
(4 • 1/4 = 1)

4 • b = 4b

4 • -6 = -24

replace all the terms and you get the expression

a + 4b - 24
